I have a HP 3216 slimline desktop that had a 200mmx cpu, 256meg of ram and 4gig hdd with Red Hat 7.3 on . I managed to grab all the important bits out of the trash and put it together to create my first Linux only system back in the early 2000s. It served me well and I learnt a lot about the operation of Linux using Red Hat 7.2. I wasn't one of this folk who distro every time a new release/distro was out.
Sadly the mobo on it died and went up to join the Flying Spaghetti Monster in Noodle Land. Being OEM I could have just tossed the whole thing in the trash. After removing any usable parts of course. I decided to just pull the mobo along with the psu(50W) and see if I can throw in another mobo along with more grunty psu in it.
The thread will document that journey.....

Apparently 32-bit is dead and nobody likes P4s.
Of course, as always, I'm open to correction...😉
