Generally speaking, the GeForce 6xxx series support on Win98 is VERY flaky. These cards require newer drivers and those drivers break compatibility with many older titles (and if you build a SS7 system, you are doing it for the compatibility with a wide range of older games, otherwise you'd build a newer PC that's a lot more powerful). Newer games are not playable on a SS7, anyway. 😀

Now, if you are planning on using a GeForce 6200 card with a SS7 system, there are many more issues that you can expect:
- the card requires A LOT of power (25W), which for most SS7 boards is just too much (many of them were built very cheaply, with underpowered AGP implementations).
- half of the performance compared to a period correct card (those late nvidia drivers were never optimized for old, slow SS7 CPUs, so the added overhead is a performance killer)
- a lot of random BSODs, freezes, etc (because of the newer drivers running on what is generally a pretty unstable platform anyway).

For SS7 what you want is a GeForce 2 MX 400 (one that actually has the full 128 bit memory bus - there are a lot of MX400 fakes out there, with only a 64 bit memory bus, like the MX200). My favorite nVIDIA drivers for SS7 is the 7.76 version.
The fastest and most compatible card for a SS7 PC is the Voodoo 3 (although even this card, with its 15W of power draw, can have issues on some cheap boards). Unfortunately these cards are quite expensive nowadays (for this very reason 😀 )
