I was recently wed when I got my first Trinitron... so I had to buy 2... LCDs still being sell a kidney price at the time. Then we both upgraded to 19" Acer LCDs in due course. Though she managed to swing an ultrawide now, where's mine? 🤣 (She got it as a gift from fam) ... The Trinitrons are still around, but don't fit any desks I've got at the moment, so stored. One of them was going dim and fuzzy though.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

I still have 2 Trinitrons. TVs. I use them with my non-PCs. Smaller one with 8-bits and bigger with Amigas (RGB-SCART).

"Thankfully" the whole Amiga stuff has been so distant to me that i've not even seen one with my own eyes. (As i've understood, with Amigas it becomes a topic...)
So in that sense, i'm a total PC guy.

By specs, it doesn't seem to support 15kHz.

So there was this one guy who wanted to get rid of this thing...
Trinitron CRT
1600x1200 @ 75Hz
Max vertical refresh 120Hz
All of this in a 17" package

And the P in the end of the model means that it has 2 VGA inputs. 😳

It's B-E-A-utiful!
It's the kind of ultimate CRT that i hoped to get at one day, and that day was today. 😀

Multiscan branding means it just might be compatible with 15KHz signals, so Amiga etc..

I honestly can't care less about modern (like 2000s) 15-inch and bigger digital CRTs... heavy, big clunkers. 2000s was LCD era anyway. On the other hand I have a growing collection of Hercules, EGA, CGA and early SVGA monitors up to 14" 😉 I would love to find some Eizo or NEC multisync with support for both TTL and Analog RGB supporting CGA, EGA and VGA and 15kHz modes too all in one package! I know they do exist.
15kHz modes on Amigas are horrible experience BTW - make my eyes bleed, but it's useful for testing anyway...

Yes ! Would love to find another NEC ! My old NEC 14" Multisync 2 died a year or so ago, it could do both TTL and RGB.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. https://archive.org/details/@horun

Remember that amber hercules monitor from the other week? Well, a couple of days ago I found its black & white brother at the same recycling centre 😁

Now I have to decide which one to keep. I'm biased towards amber but I already have my mum's old amber NEC from 1986/87.

DAT AS(s) 😁
I had exactly like one like this but with different logo with my first PC.

Black/White hercules monitors seem a bit more rare than Black/Amber or Black/Green.

I managed to get a pair of ATI All-In-Wonder cards for free, the red one is a 9800 Pro 128MB but thanks to the serial number sticker being missing, I'm having a hard time identifying the green one. It has the same ports in the same layout as the red one so maybe it's a 9800 SE?

Woooow! Nice find!

Just make sure what kind of bus this S3 card is designed for EISA or OLB - I have one very similar for the OLB bus and while it looks like EISA - installing it in EISA slot will damage the card and/or motherboard.

Sure? Have you info about OLB bus ?
I have plug it already on Pentium 60 EISA Motherboard - > Pentium 60 doesn't boot up, but it is not damaged.

EDIT:
EISA vs OPTi Local Bus cards - how to tell
I have checked: It is EISA and not Opti local bus. two ground and tree +5V contact.

Puuuh... a luck and thanks for new very interessing info.
I know pre-VLB bus with ISA similar connector after ISA (Gigabyte 486US with ET4000AX local bus )
But OPTi local bus is very dumb design. If i have designed it, i would turn EISA Slot 180° around.

Oh wow, thank you! I wasn't getting anywhere searching the info on the card.

I didn't even know there was a 128MB 8500.
