Greeting Vogons!
I am considering doing a major upgrade to my Windows 98 gaming PC. It currently runs a socket 1 Pentium 3 550E with only PC100 RAM. I would like to throw caution to the wind and go all in with a Pentium 3 Tualitin 1.4Ghz build.
I have watched multiple videos such as this:

and this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nM5uNxtT0Mk&t … el=TechTangents
where they speak about making sure that your motherboard is Tualitin compatible. Everybody on every forum seems to stress the same thing as well. This brings me to my main quesiton:
Does having a "Tualitin compatible" motherboard just come down to ensuring that it uses the Intel i815 chipset? Or is there more to it than that?
If this is the case, then I could simply purchase this mb:

And this CPU:

Along with some 133MHz RAM, then I'd be on my way!
I have attached an image of my current Win98 build for your viewing pleasure!
Cheers.
