Interesting. I seem to have the desktop version of that case. Same design and buttons (the one at the far-end, sorry couldn't find a better shot):

Matrox G200 AGP, unfortunately this only has DVI output which wasn’t visible in the eBay ad.

It did only cost me $5.

Bought this today, mostly for the Cooler Master cooler, and I don't have it in may collection...

When you are finished with hot station, pull the nozzle off the back on. This breaks the corrosion bond. Always.
Do a temperature calibration using lead solder that melts at 188C. 180C not meltable, 190C melting approximately.
Chinese stuff were not calibrated.

I have a Quick hot air station at work heavy use and nozzles is not stuck, just due to frequent swaps.

these are about as good or better than a real quick 861dw.
last year I almost bought the fake 861dw becasue it was a pretty good copy.
but now these showed up almost as low price as the fake 861dw so I pull the trigger.

Free image hosting comes with some cough, cough add-ons. 😁 I see those nasty adds from time to time but in this instance there are no such adds when I click the thumbnail and I'm not even logged in.

Those parts are flea market loot aka fresh from the dumpster. Today it was total carnage, huge boxes filled with computer parts in various states of decay. All these parts come from Germany and Italy and basically they were thrown away. Some resourceful individuals get them into our country. 😁

Pray tell what kinda carnage(!) dumpsters YOU have access to ?!

I almost bought a Gigabyte GA-386UM 386 motherboard but the seller has not answered if it has any cache and sent no picture yet 🙁
For $80 with shipping or can drive an hour and pick it up for less, may sound expensive but in my area that is actually cheap for a guaranteed working 386 board.
Still might buy it but he also has some decent Asus AT boards for about same price....
Did buy a few old glass insulators to add to my collection, they are 1942 or prior and only cost a few dollars each.

Yesterday's $26 acquisition from a local online business liquidation auction was an untested Twinhead Slimnote 5100t laptop. (486 DX4/100, 32Mb RAM, ~800Mb hard drive). Haven't found much info on it other than some mentions in PC Magazine back in the mid 90s.
Came with bag and 2 extra batteries, but no AC power adapter. Luckily, I had a Toshiba adapter that worked.
I was happy to find that it actually powered up and booted into Windows 98! The power connection is pretty finicky - might have some cracked solder joints that need attention.
I'm looking forward to having some fun messing with this machine.

Good score, Twinheads were well regarded back in the day. The power socket might not be bad, it might be that the non-original power adapter is just a tad too slim in the barrel or a tad too wide in the hole.

I picked up a few bits at sales today, they're over 10 years old, but I dunno if I should be posting in "modern", but I didn't think the pics would be real interesting to spam this with, since they're not rare stuff, just currently a bit useful to me. PCIe MSI 8400GS and Sapphire HD6450 GPUs, a buck a piece, bought them kinda blind as they don't really announce themselves very well on any of the labels, it was just "oh, a buck, yeah I'll take 'em." More happy about the 6450 think they are underrated cards for low power, single slot, use. Also have some useful transcoding support. 8400GS is a bit meh, but it might get a job shoving pixels somewhere, it's another chance at giving a super picky Dell anything better than an X300 I guess, though it's only mildly better. Then I spent some "real" money... It's a mini-ITX, E8400 (3.0Ghz 45nm C2D) on a DG45FC intel motherboard, with 4GB and a 500GB Barracuda in a Apex MI-100 case, 250W Allied PSU... I couldn't resist for $30.. very neat little system with still just usable grunt. Not sure whether it's gonna be a HTPC or a media server, or a general purpose box or what right now. In theory it can take a 65W quad core, but probably only the Q9550S worth considering... and not until I score one super cheap. It could be taking a place in my vaguely conceived at present "compact stack" of smaller form factor units, something like 6-8 retro boxes in the space required for 2 mid towers.
