Hi, recently I've got some fancy old cases which need retro-brighting.
I find it hard to remove all parts before the bleaching, especially the clear plastic parts that are often glued or even welded to the case cover.

My question is, do you remove all the clear parts (e.g. speed display cover, power-LED cover etc.) before bleaching?
How do they react? Will the go milky or even blind?

Your Feedback will be most welcome.

Building my own PCs since 1991 - for my retro builds it's "no CF-disks, no Floppy emulators, no modern cases etc.", only the real and authentic stuff whenever possible.

You might want to tape them off while retrobrighting and then use "car headlight restoration" methods on them if discolored, milky or scratched up badly.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
