I just found the DOS demo of Amiga Wizard of Wor clone called Monsters of Terror. It looks like the full DOS version was never completed. The game was originally shareware, but now you can download the full Amiga game from the authors' website.

I found an unusual version of Electronic Popple and cannot establish its provenance.

This version was found via DiscMaster on this Italian CD with a third-party installer. I used Universal Extractor to unpack the files. The binary executable is dated 16 May 1997, plus there are some screenshots dating from 2000.

On the title screen, there's a note saying NON COMMERCIAL USE ONLY in red, and the help option is missing from the menu. The first level that loads when you start the game is different from the first level in the regular demo and, presumably, in the full game. This version is also about half the size of the regular demo. No documentation is included, and no information about this version or its origins is to be found on the CD or its packaging.

It seems to run too fast on modern PCs, although there is an option to decrease playing speed. On default settings, an in-game year passes in about a second, making the demo unplayable. Yes, I played it with DxWnd.

The game runs in windowed mode with all menus implemented as native Win GUI elements, unlike the DOS version.
