if somebody wants it.

What is it?

It's a card that lets your computer use SCSI drives, but that is not important right now.

I've thought about getting a SCSI card and using one of those SD to SCSI adapters, but they aren't fast enough to be worth the expense. CF cards are still the fastest, and most old IDE controllers aren't fast enough to max out the slower speed of SD adapters, which are themselves plenty slower.

For anything ATA33 or slower, and SD card is fast enough. For ATA66 and up, a CF card is faster. For anything Windows 2000 and up, SATA is often the fastest. SATA can also be used in Windows 98, but this is a very hard edge case.

What's wrong with the Socket 7 and Socket A?

How much do they cost for shipping?

Canada have one of the most expensive shipping option (in the world)
For accurate price, you have to provide your country and postal code then he might be able to give you the price for shipping if the boards are still available.

I have a Dell Dimension 1100 motherboard with CPU, Heatsink, RAM and the fan if anyone wants it. CONUS only please, international shipping is expensive and a hassle.
I think the CPU is a Celeron D 2.53 and RAM is 2 GB PC2700.

Also have a dead Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe if anyone needs it for parts. No idea what's wrong with it. It has most of the heatpipe cooling with it, including the RAM coolers.

I have some stuff I'd like to get rid off, for the price of shipping from France:
-a pair of Xeon III 700/100/2MB 5/12V model SL4XX, untested as I don't have a motherboard that supports them both Xeon claimed.

The attachment 20241112_175407.jpg is no longer available

-ISA high speed serial port card for PC/XT/AT
-ISA parallel port card
-AVer TV Tuner, 8bit ISA

The attachment 20241112_205919.jpg is no longer available

-Asus PCI TV FM card
-56k modem PCI
-ALS4000, not working (if installed my computer refuses to start, it powers on but no video signal)

Just checking but I presume these are Slot 2? (Being Xeon's)

For those who are interested, the easiest repairs to check on this motherboard would be to reflash the BIOS chip in the event of bit rot and to replace all of the tantalum capacitors, which are known to fail at this age.
