Because I have a Voodoo5 5500 PCI that needs a home! (The Matrox card falls more into the P4 era!)

That's an interesting card by the way! (I remember when it came out back in2002!)

I see you settled on a card that falls more into the P4 era. (Quadro FX 3000)

I originally had the Voodoo5 5500 PCI installed in this machine, and people complained. So I installed this card and it gives me very good performance in this system!

I always heard Serverworks AGP implementation was buggy and slow. Guess not! Awesome build

@Irinikus
Do you think you can run the Q3 test (SMP enabled) with both Q FX3000 and FX4000 ?
Want to see if the CPUs can keep FX3000 busy enough.
Thanks in advance.

I unfortunately don't have a Q FX 4000.

Just for the records.
A ASUS 6800LE booted just fine.
It has not the 2X agp 3.3V notch, but I assume that being nv40 chip it is electrically ok anyway.

Interestingly, the GT430 (Fastest PCI GPU) and the Quadro FX3000 scored pretty much the same results in this machine, pointing to a CPU bottleneck!

The GT 430 scored 6767 3D marks and the Quadro FX3000 scores 6558 3D marks in 3DMark 2001 in this system.

The GT430's just scored 11017 3D marks in the Dual P4 Xeon that I'm currently working on!

The attachment 3DMARKGT430@2GHZ copy.jpg is no longer available

Therefore I don't think it's necessary to go with anything more than a Quadro FX3000 in a system such as this one!

I got just shy of 11 000 in 3dmark 2001 SE with my P3TDE6+dual PIII-S 1.4 GHz and Geforce 6800.

Many 3Dfx and Pentium III-S stuff.

If you take the score that the GT 430 scored in my Dual PIII 1GHz and multiply it by 1.4 you get 9473, add in some other efficiencies that your Tualatin system may have over my Coppermine, together with allowable variations in the 3DMark score (As it generally seems to drift around quite a bit) and your score does make sense.
