A bunch of game clones in Turbo Pascal (games usually also compile with Freepascal). This repo contains only the source, but the author keeps binaries in separate per game repoes. For example: https://github.com/gladir/MONOPOLY-0. Check out his GitHub profile for more: https://github.com/gladir/.

Language: French, but the games are open source so they can be localized to other languages.
License: MIT.

Paku-Pac is another Pacman clone for MS-DOS. But author is confused about the license as he used two other projects as inspiration (and borrowed some code from): Pacman by Alex James Macpherson (BSD 3-Clause License) and SP1 sprite library tutorial by Jordi Sesmero (no license noted in the source).

If anyone has time to take a look, you can suggest them your opinion. As is, this is kinda tainted (no clear license).

its gplv2 or later

https://github.com/jsmolina/z88dk-tutorial-sp … utils/bas2tap.c

I work on projects and the BSD 3 clause license is compatible with GPL code, which means the binary must be GPL

Hello. Not sure this has been brought up, but Return of Medusa is Open Source since couple months ago: https://github.com/bubeck/rings-of-medusa. Guess, github contents also put it on the free games and Windows versions of DOS games lists 😀

Nice catch! I thought I knew about this game but it turns out it was something else.

I see the game was developed on Atari ST and then ported to Amiga and DOS. So technically it's the source for a non-DOS version of a game that also appeared on DOS machines.

Happy Holidays, by the way!

Happy Holiday greetings!

Agree. I was just playing the DOS version of Medusa 2 and was very excited to see that it went opensource and hence posted - only it was not the DOS version that did! Oh well, at least it's great that SDL port is also part of the offering.

Looks like the source code of the rather obscure platform game Toxic Bunny could be downloaded from the dev's website here (kudos to @MAZterXP for making me aware of this game). Bu the Wayback Machine sadly did not preserve the actual file.

Very brief Googling has yielded no results for this one, but the devs made an enhanced remake sometime in the early 2010, and there's a mention of an earlier Java port at SourceForge, but I've not been able to locate the port itself yet (if available at all).

That's why I wrote the source could be downloaded from their site.

I guess I should have expressed myself more clearly. I edited my post to make it clear that the file is not preserved.
