It might be because it's using named pipes to communicate. That's like a socket connection. In this case it's local: dosbox-rendition to dosclient.

I just tested your awesome work, but it could not start properly. All I get is a white window, which states "60 fps" at the top left, but I cannot see any picture content. The logfiles keeps saying

What could I be doing wrong?

Waiting Sharanga response, meanwhile i can say try disable fps and if its happening for icr2 try disable frame interpolation. this one is helps for my old video card.
maybe your case is another...

Thank you! Disabling Frame Generation did the trick (I tried all the other settings before, but not that one - my bad!). I'd love to have frame generation as like this I only get 30 fps, but at least it works now - and looking awesome! GREAT WORK!

What's your gpu and cpu? Also could you post your log files here: just click the "zip log files" button and it should zip them up show the zip file in explorer.

Also try lowering your upscaling resolution, it might be running out of gpu vram.

What's your screen resolution and how much vram have you got?

Anyone testing ICR2, does replacing your .CFG files with these boost your framerates (backup the existing files)?

This disables car damage and weather, with the installatin of ICR2 @gplaps shared I get very low framerates with Downtown Detroit, not entirely sure why. I don't see anything wrong in the logs.

BTW another question: I cannot seem to use the key mappings within ICR2. I can't locate the dosbox-mapper file after saving plus: I can use the mapped buttons on my wheel for shifting in the control config menu, but in game, hese buttons are just out of function. Any idea? This only happens in "your" ICR2. If I use my common ICR2 without Rendition, it works just fine...

@gplaps, could you reply to @michaelgott9524 (who commented on your video about being unable to buy the wrapper) to try it from the Microsoft Store app and search for RReady and make sure his region is set to the UK. I think the link is for the US store.

At last an AMD GPU user. Those are few and far between these days. I'll check out your logs right away.
