I recently picked up a Chaintech ATX motherboard with the Intel HX chipset and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had a standard nine pin USB header. Then I tried to plug a USB backplate, and I realized the ninth pin was on the opposite side and a nine pin plug wouldn't fit because of it! Another quirk it has is that you have to hit the power button to shut it off when using an ATX power supply. Early hardware has its quirks.

After watching many YouTube videos about older computer hardware, YouTube began recommending videos about trains - are they trying to tell me something?

I did indeed receive a shiny PA-2005 from ebay, except the seller packed it in a very flimsy box, so some of you may shed a tear over these photos... Such a shame.

That's criminal. I really don't get why people ship things like that - it will just cost them refunds and a bad reputation.
