Well, you actually have an image with a Work Bench on your work bench. Epic!

hah, I suppose so.

I just tried out the A2000 and it only shows a black screen. I suspect there is some unseen corrosion under some of the sockets and I can see some ugliness on the legs of a few of the ram chips still. I think I'm going to keep 1 of the 2 working Amigas and give the 2000 and the rest of the stuff to an Amiga enthusiast I know if he wants it.

Man, these must have been released in very limited markets. Awesome that you keep finding them... just wish I could stumble across one myself. Such a unique board. 😀

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

Make that two of us so far. I'd love to have one of those BlasterBoards.

Got this for helping to empty a coworker's basement. Nothing special, but at least not a Celly-D FX5200 combo.
The board is a bit warped, but otherwise doesn't look damaged.

I don't know what you mean. It is a 9200 SE. I didn't state otherwise.

ohshit, I somehow read the opposite of what was meant. I blame the sleep deprivation I have been having ! 🤣

I used to use a 9200SE in a PIII machine I had in 2008 or so, until it got replaced with a 9600XT from a computer repair place I was an intern at. I got to take home all kinds of old stuff from that time, but unfortunately for me, I didn't value any of the older things then as I do now. There were K6-2/3 things that ended up in recycling that I would love to have now...

I had the 64MB version of the 9200SE until I forced it to run Battlefield 2 back in the day and it started artifacting in everything. Probably the same little heatsink this one also has couldn't handle the load. I still have the box and everything for that one. Still looking for the same Connect3D card to make it complete.

Hope it works ! Are you sure it is a M423 ? Thought they were mostly ISA only.
Is it like this: https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/pcchip … -486-vesa-chip8 ?
Can you post a good picture ?

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Image #3 https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/pcchips-m423 is how it looks.
Notice the clearly readable M423 ver 1.2 in the top right corner of the photo.
Mine says ver 1.1.1. Makes one wonder what is different between versions.
and if you look closely at image #2, one notices that there are 2 slots that aren't ISA slots.

EDIT - I have been informed those are NOT in fact EISA slots, do NOT install EISA cards in them!
Thanks to Disruptor for correcting me.

This board does not have EISA slots.
It has one flavour of Opti / Orchid local bus.
More information here: OPTi Local Bus variants

WHEN YOU USE AN EISA CARD YOU DAMAGE BOARD / CARD or BOTH!

Please remove or edit your post. It is dangerous.

Those are OPTI local bus slots not VLB or EISA.

486 OPTi Local Bus

EVERY FRIGGING TIME !

While those are actually the same connectors as on any EISA board.
They are in this situation, on this mainboard, absof*kinglutely not EISA !
They are in fact OPTI Local Bus Slots.

Sticking an EISA card in these will either do damage to the mainboard or card or both.

If you do not believe me, dig a little further.

edit: duh.
