When I full screen games, the screen is off to the side, cutting off a large part of the screen. Also it seems a bit streched, wonky.. Anyhelp would be greatly appreicated..

Edwin..

Check both fullfixed= and fullresolution= parameters inside dosbox.conf

Easyer said than done. Anyhow I found I can just press buttons on my monitor to move it in place, strangly it doesn't mess with the desktop screen either.
Thanks anyway Pusher..

Fullfixed=true is used along fullresolution=XXXxYYY resolution to force a specific resolution for full-screen mode. If you want to run all programs at a 800x600 full-screen resolution you should modify the following lines for dosbox.conf

fullfixed=true
fullresolution=800x600 {default is 1024x768}

Intel i7 5960X
Gigabye GA-X99-Gaming 5
8 GB DDR4 (2100)
8 GB GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (Gigabyte)

anyway it't not dosbox that is off.
it your monitor that is off.
It's a long story to explain.
fullfixed and things like that are for those broken monitors

try that combo that pusher mentioned and the output=ddraw setting, i had the same problem with that also when i tried to enter full screen but now it looks great...i had to experiment with it a lot, so your results may vary. 😀

Ah thanks for all that...I've no problems since I've pushed buttons on my monitor... I'm not 100% sure on what Pusher is saying, though if I used a bit of brain power I'm sure I could... Thanks anyhow..oh I'm getting more of what Pusher said... heh..
