Well, I decided to play blue shift a second time, and then started on the original game. When I got the the surface tension map, I gotta say what where they trying to prove? So hard it's really not any fun to play it. There were some other hard maps (blast pit, on a rail) but this one really takes the cake.

It was long and maybe a bit annoying, but personally, can't forget about On a rail. Couldn't wait to get out of there.

Surface Tension and On a Rail are fantastic maps, some of the best stuff in the game. The "Black Mesa" mod did them dirty and I'll never buy it for that reason.

I don't remember surface tension being that bad. What was the issue with it?

Pentium 4 Multi-OS Build
486 DX4-100 with 6 sound cards
486 DX-33 with 5 sound cards

Too doggone hard to even be fun. I thought that about much of half-life, but this was the worst.
