Hi
While back I got this DELL optiplex gx270 SFF. Replaced all the bulged and leaking caps (I forgot about 3 bulging 1800uF 16v ones on the CPU high side, will try to order them later this month). On first boot I ran into some weird stability issues - It was turning off after applying load onto the CPU, sometimes I was getting errors that the PC hanged on A20 errors, and there was weird noise from the CPU VRM (most definitely because of the bulging caps in the VRM). Then after the issues went away (maybe because some dried up caps somewhat reformed?) DIMM_2 slot stopped working. Its now beeping and displaying (on the diagnostic lights) memory errors when there's a stick in that slot. Otherwise everything else seems to work, installed XP while the RAM stick was in a different slot. Tried different working sticks in that slot, cleaned it with an compressor, tried memory in dual channel but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
