I've installed Windows 95 on this old machine a few times and I don't recall ever having this issue. I get to the point where it makes me accept the software license agreement, and after accepting it, the machine locks up and stays there. I've formatted a few times, redid the partitions with fdisk, tried resetting the MBR with fdisk /mbr, using another copy of Windows 95 to install from, etc, and nothing will make it work. Funny because I installed a test installation of it just yesterday and now I can't get it to work at all.
I've read that it's probably easier to copy the files from the CD to my HD and install from there, but I'm curious as to why this was working and now is not, and why there tends to be trouble with this to the point that people recommend copying the files to your HD first.
EDIT: I let it sit there for many minutes and it finally cranked over and started the installation. It didn't do this this past week. Weird...
