Does anyone have any drivers they recommend for the Gravis Gamepad Pro under windows 95? I tried the GrIP software it came with and that cruddy junk shaved like 10-15 fps off every game I tried it in. For my Pentium 166 rig, that pushed Virtua Fighter into barely tolerable territory. Even games that didn't use the joustick like winquake were affected. I even tried just uninstalling the software and just using the grip driver in the Game Controllers software that comes with 9x and that still seemed to shave off about 5 fps or so with added stutter for fun and profit. I tried a few of the generic gamepad drivers microsoft carries but they wouldnt talk to the controller. It's a shame because this is a pretty great feeling controller otherwise. Like a ps1 controller with a better d-pad
