Everybody knows that game? 😉
Good, so I think vdmsound is causing _very_ annoying speed problems in it. It pauses for like 10 seconds everytime the music changes.

Does anyone read the posting guidelines?
Operating System
SoundCard
etc...
What basis do you have that VDMSound is causing the problem?
OMG I were supposed to post those too...
Windows XP Professional
Sound Blaster Live (Player or 1024...)
512MB ram
900Mhz TB
Geforce 2 mx
anything else?
Hmm, I tried it again and it ran well with and without vdmsound... didn't start it with "run with vdmsound" though, used uninstall instead.
Ok, but this I know for sure : Dune 2 works well, but the sound has slowdowns and speedups. A bit irritating...
Isn't true love a windows game? Shouldn't need vdmsound.

Thanks.

You kind of lost me there...
Oh, by the way, there are at least two games that I have found with the name "True Love". Both were Windows titles. VDMSound is only for DOS titles. Never try to use VDMSound with Windows titles or you'll run the risk of electrocution.

I would recommend using DosBox myself.
