So, I've been having this AST Advantage! 7302 sitting around for about half a year or so seeing very little usage.

It's all original/stock as delivered in 1995 or so. 120 mhz cpu, 16 mb edo ram, 1.2 gb Seagate hdd along with a 3.5" 1.44mb drive and an 8x cd-rom from Hitachi. It's running its original Windows 95 installation.
I'm actually more of a late 80s / early 90s kid and was wondering if running DOS 6.22 (or some other flavor) would be a good idea? I'm mainly looking to play old SSI, Sierra and Lucasarts games and don't really have much use for what Windows 95/98 offers. Unless there are convincing reasons to use that?

As far as I can tell from browsing the Internet and checking the hardware through Windows 95 it seems to be equipped with and S3 Trio graphics cards and a Yamaha soundcard (OL3?).
I have an old working 5.25" TEAC drive that I could fit in the empty 5.25" bay in the front.

How would you go about utilizing this computer?

Absolutely, for older games you can disable the L2 cache. Or decrease the multiplier to 1.5 (60*1.5=90MHz) if possible.

Thanks dominusprog! I'll look into the settings in BIOS, I guess.
