Hello guys,
U might wonder why i even want to talk about a game like this. However it had some nostalgic value for me. And i researched hours an hours till i realized what i really had to do :

First of all, after installing it regulary to my PC, i realized it doesnt really work when i try to start any racing track.
You first need the version two patch from
http://www.lafix.de/archive/abraser/
rename spel.dat of your game directory into spel.exe and copy the files of the zip into the game directory.
Now the important magic. Please, ffs, forget about DxWnd for this game. It doesnt make it never ever work. I flipped so many switches, it never worked out.
Instead grab some dgVoodoo program with libs, copy the files of MS/x86 from there to your game folder and create some good dgVoodoo.conf with the dgvoodoo config Tool. After that copy the conf file to the game folder as well.
And that, my friends, is how you really make Autobahn Raser II playable. If you care tho xD

dgVoodoo2 and DxWnd aren't interchangeable. The former is a very complete DirectX wrapper+emulator, while the latter does many things and a lot less of wrapping DX, it doesn't even convert to a newer API (which is a big thing for modern compatibility) for backward compatibilty and at best, hooks upon the driver for heavy changes, like dgV.

Naturally it won't work, bothered to mention it as you probably tried on it for a long time
