Yeah, got something wrong with the game just whenever I try to boot up MS-DOS and type WOLF3D to start, it doesn't detect its mouse, just a sound and a keyboard

For some reason, the MS-DOS is installed but the Windows isn't installed, reasoning for this is that PCem can play DOS games just like DOSBox but I prefer PCem for its simple menu features and floppy disk selection
But whenever I see that mouse not being detected at the beginning of the game, I tried to change the PS/2 to 2-button mode, yet it still doing nothing right.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

The MS-DOS specs:
Intel Pentium MMX 233
128 MB
3DFX Voodoo 3 2000 (it's not installed but the game perfectly works especially in smooth framerate I suppose)

Welcome to real DOS! 😁

Have you installed a DOS mouse driver in the emulated computer? It isn't automated like in DOSBox.

There is a DOS mouse driver? If so, please give me the link since I only appreciate the safe one.

CuteMouse is the safest one I can provide.

Sorry, but I only want IMG not the exported thing. Just because PCem can only load IMG files, I even can't find a way to make every folders all in one as a IMG perfectly.

You shouldn't have too much trouble, PCem since v17 supports VHD files for HDD. Those can be mounted in your Windows 10 host as if they were a regular storage drive.

From there you can put the mouse driver. After this, the VHD should be unmounted before running PCem again.

msdos is wonderful and belongs to a beautiful era of computing, give it the time it deserves to learn it

about the img images, use winimage and create your own floppy with what you need
