Hi, just saw this in the news today. Photo is from 2010 or so.

I think that's not unusual per se.

However, nowadays such things go viral.

It apparently blows people's minds that old computers had been used for more than just playing games.

On a second thought, the use in a bakery does the C64's nickname justice. 😉
(The Commodore 64 used to be called "bread bin".)

Well, we live in a world with a lot of pressure to use recent software to be able to do this and that. No, your phone is too old for this. No, Windows 7 is so yesterday, better get on with the times.

Usually the problem is with software updates - new regulations or law implementations. Software companies will drop support for old OS's after some time.

So who does the software maintenance of this C64?

I don't think it kneads any maintenace, as long as it brings in the dough.
