I mentioned the problem of strange text on the game screen (G-police has symptoms on the briefing screen) after testing on Alien vs Predator (1998) and G-police that I uploaded before.

Someone said that Texel alignment is needed, so I went into the driver settings. I went into the Texel alignment settings, but it is set to Valve 3 by default.

The left side is set to Upper Left Corner, and the right side is set to Center. So which side should I set to solve the symptom?

My graphics card specifications: Nvidia Riva TNT 2 M64
Currently used driver: Nvidia Detonator XP v21.81 (Win9x/ME) September 2001.

Or should I use an older driver that has Direct5 compatibility?

you just test whatever setting fixes the problem. it's a common issue with riva128 and tnt.

the other thing is to always check the game's readme and/or patch notes, because these would frequently address issues like this.
