Hey Folks,

I've recently came across a case only version of Codename Tenka for PC, the American release. It was published by a company called DiamondStar with a copyright date of 1997.

Now I've thoroughly scoured the internet and ebay, and could not find a single mention of an American release for this game. Supposedly the PC version was only released in PAL regions, however this company DiamondStar was based out of Foster City, California USA.

Has anyone ever come across an American big box version of this game? Perhaps this was a bundled version that came with select hardware.

I've included 2 pictures of the rear case art and spine (I do not have the manual).

Any tips you might have would be much appreciated!

Mobygames says it was released in the US for PC on Jan 22, 1998.

They do not have a box shot of the release however, only the PAL releases.

PC gaming wiki shows the same release date for USA : https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Lifeforce_Tenka

but it shows the PAL boxes as shown on Mobygames.

Yes thank you Shag, I saw those websites earlier. What I'm looking for is some concrete photo evidence. It's very odd that both websites don't have any American box or media shots of this game, nor does anyone else on the entire internet.

Anyone out there have any pictures of the American release?
