Hi! A long time ago, I thought to produce a semi-DOS-like OS for the PC called SGOS. That's short for Simple Game Operating System. It was to provide the support needed to better host games. It would support things like "sprites," backgrounds, music and sound effects. Its main menu would analyze the floppy, CD or Zip disk currently in the drive and allow the user to run one such game. I wanted it to run exclusively from floppy, but I think I'll need up to 16MB hard drive for the OS. Should I pursue it? What are the pros and cons of creating such?
