Is it possible to, on a i430fx/i440fx motherboard, reset the PCI configuration space (using PCIRST#) without resetting the CPU?

All I can find to drive it is the Turbo Reset Control register, which one exists of at offset 93h into the northbridge PCI configuration space, and the southbridge (piix/piix3) has a more complete version with 2 extra bits (which don't affect the CPU reset/INIT)?

You can of course perform it from SMM, which masks the INIT signal, but once you leave SMM again, INIT is back in effect, triggering a CPU reset anyways?
