For convenience purposes, I am trying to run Nexus The Jupiter Incident on a netbook (Atom N450 GMA3150) running XP ?
Installation runs ok and screen resolution doesn't seem to be a problem, but I can't ... Any help welcome

What version are you running? A patch exists to bring the game to Version 1.01 (nexus_update_101_english.exe).

Are you trying to run the retail version, or copied over from Steam or GOG? Could you give more information about what's happening, you try to start the game and it just never opens or something else?

If you are running the retail release, make sure you having the 1.01 patch. That copy of the game also have SafeDisc which might be causing problems.

Thanks for your patience and your messages. akula65's link does not work on my computer.

XP SP3 and DX9c installed. I am of course (netbook) using iso files.

With the steam version 1.03,
I get "the procedure entry point inet_ntop could not be located in the dynamic link library, WS2_32.dll"
and no dx8 version

with CD original ISO
DX8 or DX9 not patched to 1.01
assertion failed file: dspace.cpp line: 542 expression: false

patched to 1.01
nexus_DX8.exe has a problem and has to close
