I was wondering if i set my old iphones to the EU can I sideload apps like dosbox and other emulators?

I think only jailbraking iphone will do the trick. I live in EU and have not heard about sideloading apps to phone (exept through developer mode in MacOS Xcode -> testing compiled application on real haardwer)

i got the answer, it has to do with the user being tied to EU financial institutions
