Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'm trying to remember a game I played around 15-20 years ago. I've been searching for years but haven't been able to find it. Here are all the details I can remember:
Game Details:
- Platform: PC, ran well on a Pentium 3 with Windows XP
- Era: Before 2006, likely between 1997-2002
- Graphics: 3D, low-poly with PS1-like visuals
- Art Style: Cartoony/goofy tone, not serious or horror
- Perspective: Possibly first-person
- Distribution: I got it on CD in South Asia, may have been obscure shareware or regionally distributed title
Distinctive Game Mechanics:
- You gain powers as tokens (when you defeat the enemies)
- At game start, you receive 3 unique abilities
- When you get damaged(?) your ability gets knocked out of you but you can retrieve it within time limit
- You only die when all your abilities are gone and you can't get any new ability during that the countdown
- A beam of light appears when someone dies
- Enemies also have the same abilities (but I think they only had one of them; I remember we fight three enemies with our starting abilities)
- Single player game (might have multiplayer, but I always played single)
- Possibly linear gameplay
I have tried using LLMs and google/bing/kagi and so on but found nothing. Any help would be appreciated
