So I have a weird issue with this motherboard where the POST screen is completely black unless I try and enter setup, then it shows all the info you'd normally expect of a POST screen. When the silent boot/boot logo option is enabled, it shows the Intel Desktop Board logo, but with it disabled it just shows a black screen. The board still beeps during this and clears POST, but I don't see any text and it's overall just kind of odd. Is this normal behavior for these boards? It's a stock Intel, not OEM as far as I know.

Also worth noting that the text shows up when a CMOS battery error is thrown. Never shows up any other time though

Position of the blue jumper? It has a normal operation position / cmos setup and also something like a recovery option, if I'm not mistaken 😉

Jumper is set in the normal position and the Quiet Boot setting is either the Intel Desktop Board splash logo or a black screen depending on being enabled/disabled. Now if I disable Quick Boot, I get the text I'm looking for, strangely enough. But then I'm having to wait for the memory to count on every startup.

UPDATE:
Somewhere along the way, it decided to start showing the normal, non-logo POST screen. I have no idea what I'd done differently to get it to work, but I'm just going to keep it as-is for now, as this was the end goal anyways! It wasn't a total deal breaker, but I've always liked being able to see general hardware info on the POST screen. That was one strange issue, though...
