Hi Vogons. This is my first post here so hopefully it's in the right forum. I wrote a guide on how my friend and I access the same retro LAN with any LAN capable retro machine. My friend is in Florida. I am in New York.

Very nice.
I didn't realise how much I missed lan games till 3 of us played the C&C remaster on Steam few years ago, first time we had since the mid 2000's
Benefit of this is you can even your retro machine, although neither of my friends take this hobby that far.

LAN games truly are something we've lost. There are so many multiplayer games now that will simply cease to function when they are C&C's age and there is no server to back them.
