Hello everyone!

I just found PCI TNT2 GPU card and I'm trying to bring it back to life. The card, no matter how hard I tried, is not detected by either DOS (wfflash) or Windows. The card chip heats up normally, both mosfets have voltage. I tried with a second card and it is not detected by Windows either. There are also no broken tracesas far as I can see (i used microscope). As you can see there are a few components on the card (3 capacitors etc). Also the bios is getting power normally.

Is there anyone who can help me????

Starting with the basics…have you cleaned the copper contacts with some IPA throughly?

Next thing to try is if NVFLASH can read the cards BIOS. Try backing up the BIOS with NVFLASH -B backup.rom

These PCI cards with bus switches (Pericom here) do not work correctly in some PCI slots, usually on older boards. I had the same problem with Dell's TNT2 M64 PCI, which only worked in the newer socket 462 boards, not in the older socket 7. If you have a newer mainboard with s.370, 462 and later, try it there.

I have tried this GPU with motherboards with Socket 7, 370 and 775....So may be the problem is something else...

Is there a possibility that some "balls" below the chip have come loose????
