Folks,
I wonder if someone happens to have this board (DTK PTM-1260B) and would be willing to take some high res pictures of it.
I got such a board and all I spotted when I bid for it was some battery leakage that looked bad but not too bad. I won the board for mere 25 bucks and I was looking forward to see if I can get it run. The first obstacle was the board not powering up at all, due to shorted 5V to ground. I removed some tantalum caps and re-socketed all chips and the problem was solved. However, when checking and removing the caps, I realized that the empty spots where crystals are supposed to be are not empty from manufacturing but someone actually removed them. Long story short - the board does only have two crystals out of ~ 7 as they were too corroded to even recognize what they are, and there are no oscillators (all three missing). I also noticed two missing transistors and there might be more.
The board actually isn't too damaged, the battery leakage is rather mild, and the board is interesting as it has MFM hard drive controller onboard (!) so it's worth saving. However, the only picture I found (https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/dtk-ptm-1260b) is blurry and can't be used as an information source.
Thus the question - good pictures might help to bring the board back to life, if possible.
Thanks,
Kubik
