Is there a way to access Delta Force: Xtreme's multiplayer mode in Internet or LAN? I can't access the game's multiplayer mode because it requires a NovaWorld account, which the online service was shut down.

Novalogic games that have a LAN option can be accessed by tunneling, which is useful when Nova's login servers are down.
You still need a LAN server hosted somewhere and some way to connect over internet unless you only play locally.

For LAN over the internet, I usually use Blizzard's Battlenet app for this, playing Joint Operations by Novalogic.
You have to enter the IP address of the game host/s in the Battlenet app to find the available games running.

(Note that the games running on LAN are not the same instances as those running through Nova's servers, even if hosted by the same clans.)

Can this workaround bypass the login screen to access the multiplayer mode?

Yes, you don't connect through the Novalogic lobby, but connect directly to the servers.
(The LAN servers are separate from the Novalogic lobby connected ones, you can only see the LAN hosts.)
You do need the IP:s or DNS names for the hosts to add to a host list in the BattleNet app.
(The Battle net option does not include a proper player lobby, only the host lists of whatever IP:s you have added, so it is of a limited use)

Note: I have not needed to try the DF:X with this method, I only play JO, but I have all their games except DF:X2

I've also seen there is an alternate 3rd party lobby for the older games, like Novalogics Comanche/F16/Mig-29/IBS and older games like Delta Force, but I've not tried it yet.

I just installed my DF:X game to see if it works, but it seems this game has no standalone LAN option, unlike JO which can use a LAN without the lobby, but DF:X is only multiplayer over internet or LAN by first going through the Novalogic lobby, so I think this is a dead game once that lobby goes away. (And it is currently down, since the end of last week)

Edit: Novalogic lobby login for JO came back online tonight, and worked as normal; however the DF:X game does not seem able to access that server, even if you are registered (I am), and get the login screen, it still says the (login) database is offline (error: NWNODB01).
This I find rather odd, as the THQ Nordic login servers database should contain all Novalogic games that a user has registered/activated, and I'd expect DF:X games should be able to be hosted on local servers if THQ Nordic don't keep the official ones running, just like Joint Operations games now are. It seems the DFX login server has been down since the end of 2022.

(The alternate 3rd party lobby I found does not work for DFX nor JO, from what I read, it's only only for the older games.)

There was a release of the JO game series through Steam, called Combine Arms, which used the steam application to access multiplayer, but I do not own that version. Maybe there is a similar option if DF:X or DF:X2 are sold through steam, but I cannot say. Single player for these type of games are rather pointless.

Looking at Valve's forums, it seems both the DF:X & DF:X2 games are still sold, but cannot be registered/activated for online play, e.g. i't looks like a scam to me. Sure three single player campaigns are included, but those feels more like trainer wheels for a racer bike.
