Hi all,

I tried installing and playing MTI on my 98SE machine, it installs and plays ok but there is no sound. During installation the game asks to install Indeo drivers which I allowed, afterwards I thought that they might be the problem as the ones on the disc are for 95 or NT. So I deleted them all (from the Multimedia control panel app I just removed everything with Indeo in the name) and tried some Indeo drivers for 98 that I found online. Those didn't work either. I have also tried installing K-Lite in a complete configuration to try and rule out there being some codec problem and still no luck.

What do you guys think? Sound works otherwise just fine on the machine. I am using the digital out with "digital output only" enabled in the Creative control suite, could this maybe be a problem? The game apparently requires support for 8-bit sound but I'm not sure what that even means.
