the whole stop killing games initiative is that if companies do decide to discontinue games then please let Gamers continue

there should be at least like an expiration date you know like this game will expire in 10 years and etcetera something that will make it easier for the end-user to understand like hey if this game goes down before the 10-year up will give you a probated refund or something

Question is is the risk worth it for good publicity and potentially more sales because if it doesn't then why bother

but as long as they disclosed that internet connection is required I mean if they disclosed fully disclose all this stuff I mean legally they're in the clear

why has this come up now when we've had MMOs for decades

I mean going forward if I mean current games will have this sort of end of life death date that won't be known

then again if they had to disclose this stuff then consumers likely wont buy into it thinking why buy since it will expire at some point?

we do buy food with expiration dates
