I just found out that Alison Hine (aka Eagle Woman) passed away last month: https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/vnews/na … ary?id=58515684

She built and flew airplanes, raced real and simulated cars and had a really useful site for sim racing enthusiasts at the turn of the century (fortunately still preserved in the Wayback Machine since the site currently has a lot of dead links): http://alison.hine.net/gpl/
She had another version of the site here at one time: http://eaglewoman.racesimcentral.com/

She will be missed.

My respects to her and condolences to those who knew her. She sounds like the kind of person I would have appreciated knowing.

According to the Grand Prix of Legends Facebook page, she passed away at the age of 75 on May 19, 2025 after her one month battle with what appeared to be a severe illness. She will be greatly missed. 🙁
