It tried to get Mechwarrior 3 working on Win 11, but the intro video is not working.

Really, since the game has so many engine problems in modern windows, it sounds like it is best to just get it working in 86Box.

I got it running with max graphics on a Voodoo 3 in 86Box.

There is a little slowdown on complex geometry, but that seems normal for the game.
