SCWrap is a Java-based utility that bypasses the restrictions of SOUND Canvas VA.dll on SCCore.dll and patches SCCore.dll to restore nearly all the features originally found in the SC-8820 but removed from SOUND Canvas VA. In addition, it introduces several features that the original SC-8820 never had.
Currently, it only supports Windows, though some users have reported success running it on Mac.

About the GUI
Since I’m not skilled in GUI design, I reused the Yamaha S-YXG50 interface with minor modifications. If possible, contributions to redesign the GUI are welcome.

Restored Features

• XG support (limited by SOUND Canvas VA.dll)
• 2-Part support (limited by SCCore.dll; this is the only part requiring code patches)

• SC-8820 buttons and port display restored via GUI
