With no FPGA Dreamcast core coming any time soon, I've been considering using my WinXP rig for emulating the ol' DC. The said rig is connected to a Flatron CRT monitor and the DC did support 480p VGA output, so the experience should be more or less accurate. Redream seems to be a fuss-free solution, but AFAIK it only runs on newer versions of Windows. Google and Reddit suggest that there is an older version of Redream that does run on 32-bit WinXP, I can't find any specific information though. Are any of you guys aware of such a version?

Win98 rig: Athlon XP 2500+/512MB RAM/Gigabyte GA-7VT600/SB Audigy/GF FX5700/Voodoo2 12MB
WinXP rig: HP RP5800 - Pentium G850/2GB RAM/GF GT530 1GB
Amiga: A600/2MB RAM
PS3: Slim, CFW, mostly for RetroArch & PSX games
PS2: Fat, FMCB

Maybe im mistaken, but only 64builds for Redream. I think best on XP are nulldc and demul, and D3D9/GL plugins on XP are not best neither

Thanks! I guess I'm also open to other suggestions regarding DC emulation under 32-bit WinXP 😀
