This is what I was thinking Wednesday night at the start of fall break:
Network the windows 95/98 computers!
Run Quake on a pure DOS machine!
Burn some 650-MB CDs!
Get out the Terminator 2 DVD!

Sounds good, lets see how far you get.
This was my week "off" with the wife and kids at the in-laws and having the house to myself.
Case swap my S478 into an empty case, Move my existing LGA775 build into what was the S478's and a new LGA1336 build in the old 775's
Completed although slow going as gave everything a big clean as well although still waiting on some parts for the new build... Joys of living arse end of the world.
Test a 386 I found abandoned earlier this year, Replace PSU and now boots to POST but wont detect any FDD, HDD. Swapped out 2 other I/O cards, no change. Problem for the future.
Attempt to install a P200MMX in the 386's case. Found compatible RAM, Video card, even a 233MMX CPU... annnd that's when it stopped working. Project on hold as family will be back soon!
Pack away everything and last days will be doing test installs on the new LGA1336, finding drivers etc
I don't have any 650 MB CDs - but I do have a cake-box full of the 700 MB ones. The good Japanese-made ones 😀
