Hi everyone — I’m brand new here. I'm trying to identify the exact model or manufacturer of a mid-tower ATX case I owned in 2006. I've been on a kick lately of rebuilding my old computers. I've successfully rebuilt my 2001 PC because I got lucky in finding the unbranded generic case that I had. Now I am trying to do the same with my 2006 build.

I bought it as a new pre-built from a local shop in Ottawa, Ontario in late 2006.

Description:

Silver and black mid-tower, front bezel shaped like a large “X” with a chrome circular badge in the center.

No handle or ports on top (some similar cases had that).

Standard ATX layout, no side window, four external 5.25" bays, front USB/audio near the bottom behind a flap.

I’ve attached two photos (one of my original case, one of a similar variant that was grey with black accents that had the handle).

I’ve already searched for:

Raidmax X-1 / X-series / Apex X-Dreamer / ColorsIT 330x
Generic “X front bezel” ATX cases

None are an exact match.

If anyone recognizes this bezel/chassis or remembers which brand PC Cyber stocked around that time, I’d really appreciate it. Even a part number molded into the back of the bezel or chassis would help.

Thanks for any leads!

That seems to be the consensus. Now I just have to find out if it ever had a name. I know the shop I got my computer from had Foxconn cases listed on their site in 2006. I just have to find a good day when the Wayback Machine is working properly to see that list again.
