I use a EM8475 to play VOB and MPEG2 files on CRT TV. I use an old Zoom Player, that software ilcan use the output of the card. (Composite signal)
The XP based computer which have this card, I did not used for more than 2 years. Now I wanted to play the videos stored on the HDD, but I cannot get sound.
The driver of the sound card on the motherboard is not installed. I used the audio out on that pci card.
I checked all the videos I had on the HDD, and which I already watched with sound, but non of them have sound.
(I checked it with different speakers, there is no sound.)
Does anyone have an idea why I have this issue?
Thank you for helping me.

I think the card is some kind of damaged. I cannot find any other reason.
I checked the Drivers's page, and I set up the proper output.
I have no SPDIF device at home, so I cannot check the digital out, but I have the feeling, there is also no signal.
Maybe I am going to buy a new card.

Anyway I am using Zoom Player V4.51.
I also tried other player (XMedia player) but there was also no signal.
