Hello,

I own an ASUS P2B-F Rev 1.00 which is compatible with the Pentium 3 Coppermine Series, because of it's voltage regulator chip.
I also own an Intel Pentium 3 933 Mhz (SL4BT, Slot 1, FSB 133 Mhz) which I would like to use with that board. To max out the CPU, I would need to overclock the PCI and AGP Slots. I dont want to do that.

I would like to go for a 101% stable build, that's why I want to use a FSB of 100Mhz.

Since the CPU has a multiplier of x7, the maximum clock will be 700 Mhz. Is that correct?

Is it safe to use the 933 Mhz as a 700 Mhz CPU?

Thanks! Will there be any other downsides except the 233 Mhz loss?

That and the 100MHz memory speed, so you will really lose 1/4 performance. But that aside, AGP and PCI will be running in-spec, as will derived ISA bus.
