This falls under literally don’t care but vogons forces me to choose one because vogons says my post license type is invalid .

This happens occasionally when I type out a TEXT ONLY message forcing me to choose a different one but lately I’ve encountered situations where none of the selections allow a post.

What is the purpose of this selection, especially on my own words?

Why can’t I opt out of this?

How can a post license selection be invalid for something I write? Why does it matter?

I'm confused, you say it happens even with text only responses but the one pictured has a file attachment for which the license thing is valid.

Are you saying it's putting the license box there even with no attachment whatsoever?

I’ve had it happen on both, and occasionally I am blocked from posting altogether because every available selection says it’s invalid

Saved my post as a draft, then reloaded the pic and it worked, I’m usually able to fumble through when this happens but this time it just wouldn’t let me bypass the bad licensing
