Laptop turns off after BIOS screen but once

Yesterday, after I pressed my power up button, my laptop started booting, went to the OEM logo/Windows loading screen and just shut down.

I tried powering on again, this time it took around 40 seconds to reach the BIOS screen but then it worked fine.

Any guesses as to what might have happened this time? The battery was charged to 94% after boot and it was running on battery

Have you tried to replace the CMOS battery?

I have traveled across the universe and through the years to find Her.
Sometimes going all the way is just a start...

The CMOS should be fine since the laptop is pretty new and the settings haven't ever reset.
