Hi guys,
I have a T5515 thin client from hp which i am happily using with freedos that i wanted to use also with windows98 and while the ram is not a problem (updated to 256mb) i have big constraints on the storage side having only 128mb on board.
Freedos happily runs from usb thumbdrive, but i don't know if win98 likes it.
all the SD card or CF adapters i have found are just too big to fit between the pci slot and the metal enclosure unless using a flat cable, but i have nowhere to attach the adapter inside the case.
So I have found replacements on ebay like this one:

Is 16GB enough to install windows98 and games? can in then install some into an usb drive?

That is more than enough for Windows 98 and a lot of games. You can install games on USB but it's probably not needed (and also slow). Games around that time were mostly a couple of 100MB. And the bigger/later games would probably not run great on this CPU/GPU anyway.

16 Gb is above average HDD size for Windows 98 system. Also you can freely use USB 2.0 sticks as additional storage to load ISO files, etc.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.
