Hello everyone,

I’m restoring an old C++/OCI project from around 2001–2002 (built with Visual C++ 6.0 and Oracle 9i Client).
To compile and run the software again, I need the original Oracle9i installation media for Windows 32-bit.

I am specifically looking for:

- Oracle 9i Release 2 (9.2.0.1.0 or 9.2.0.4) for Windows (32-bit)
- Disk1 / Disk2 / Disk3 (Enterprise Edition)
- Oracle 9i Client CD (32-bit)
- Any matching ISO images or full CD dumps

I already have several partial or broken media sets, but they are missing crucial files such as:
oracommon9.lib, orasql9.lib and multiple OCI/MSVC libraries required by the Oracle 9i client SDK.

If anyone has the full Oracle9i Windows installation discs archived,
or knows where they can be legally obtained for historical / archival / development purposes,
I would appreciate any help.

Thank you in advance!

Oracle's site is giving me grief and I can't log in at the moment, but unless they removed or renamed it you're probably looking for this:
Oracle9i Database Release 2 Enterprise/Standard/Personal Edition for Windows NT/2000/XP

That's for 9.2.0.1, 32-bit. From my notes that date back to 2020, the download URLs used to be:
http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/oracle9i/92 … 010NT_Disk1.zip
http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/oracle9i/92 … 010NT_Disk2.zip
http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/oracle9i/92 … 010NT_Disk3.zip
http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/oracle9i/92 … 92010NT_CLT.zip

You'll almost certainly need to be logged in and agree to the OTN terms before downloading will actually work if the files are still available.

Good luck!

Okay, unfortunately it looks like 9i was removed from OTN:

These installation media files were freely available from Oracle for a long time, so I would like to think that pointing you to an alternate source of the original ZIP files is acceptable. Here is one. May it not displease any moderators.
