Hi Vogoners,

It feels nice leaving a message on this forum, as I'm mostly reading and rarely writting anything here.

I am a long time collector and rarely a builder, so I decided to make a change, as I got in my possession a rather old Cooler Master Stacker 830 which I slightly refreshed, and I do not know what to put inside this monster 😀

Anything goes, from P2-P3 to latest AGP platforms (I've got those Asrock mobos with support for quad AMD & Intel CPUs and AGP cards, also have Nvidia 7800/7900 and Radeon 3850 and 4670 AGP in my collection), or thinking going even in direction of my old rig, which is an Asus Crosshair Formula IV with a Phenom II X6 or an FX8350, and crossfire XFX 7870XT cards. Definitely I will need to put Audigy 2 ZS with front bay, as I have too many front covers missing on the Stacker.

My gaming career ended more or less on Windows XP platform, in around ~2007-2010, so I am not chasing for the fastest performance, but I want it to be special, and since in this case the Stacker is the looker, and not what's inside, I don't care about the looks of the components (too much).

My only other 2 built retro PCs are a dual PII I slot1 Supermicro mobo with voodoo2 SLI and a Shuttle XPC with A64 x2 939/AGP X800XT combination, so I should try to go in some other direction.

I think Crossfire (on Crosshair IV MB) or SLI should be the topic (my SLI collection ends on Nforce4 s939, but without SLI cards), but I am open to proposals.

Thanks on your inputs!
